MAY
Porch Plants
If you’ve been in recently, you might have spotted a few new leafy additions creeping their way outside…
That’s all thanks to Porch Plants by Gemma, a familiar face to many as an organiser behind the Wavy Markets and a proper local creative. Gemma’s been stocking us up with her beautifully curated mix of vintage pots and plants, each one with it’s own bit of character.
We’re buzzing to be building this out, spilling beyond our doors and growing our little corner of outdoor retail. Think plants, pots, and all sorts of Folk’s rusty garden goodies to bring a bit of life (and a bit of a charm) to your own space.
Pop by, have a browse, and maybe take a piece of it home with you.
Folk Sundowners Are back
Longer Days, Warmer Nights. Sundowners are back baby.
We’re kicking Summer 2026 off on Friday 22nd May, 5.30pm - 11pm bringing that easy-going fiesta feelin' to start the season right. Think golden hour fresh cocktails, Mexican inspired bites from the kitchen, and a laid back atmosphere that rolls effortlessly through the evening.
Live music comes from Becca Rose and Harry Quinn, setting the tone as the sun dips and the night picks up.
No tickets needed - just turn up. Tables are first come, first served, so get here early, grab a drink, and make yourself at home.
Summer is here.

NEW MENU MAY
Our new menu has officially landed and it’s full of fresh favourites, comfort food classic and a couple of specials that simply refuse to leave. Here are just some highlights…
The biggest crowd favourite? Our Suffolk smoked ham toastie is now available all season, packed with cheddar, mozzarella, sauerkraut, English mustard and a fried egg, all toasted to perfection.
We’ve also added a poppyseed bagel loaded with smoked salmon, cream cheese, crispy capers, dill, watercress and lemon.
For something lighter, there are two fresh new salads: grilled peach and burrata, plus a seasonal garden salad with asparagus and tahini dressing.
And finally - the Folk team obsession - pickled Sriracha fries. Our perfectly crisp fries served with a thick creamy, cheesy, flavour loaded dip with chunky gherkin and dill. Comfort food at it’s finest.
Available now at Folk. Come hungry.
RUN CHLOE RUN
At Folk, we’re big believers in celebrating the individuals that make Folk possible, and this month, we’re incredibly proud of our team member Chloe, who completed the Manchester Marathon in an amazing 4hours 12 minutes.
What started as a growing obsession with running over the last year quickly turned into some seriously impressive challenges, including her December fundraiser where she ran 300km to raise money for the Dogs Trust charity.
Since then, the early mornings, long training runs and endless determination all led to April’s marathon finish line - and we couldn’t be prouder.
One of the best things about Folk is the community we have within the team. Whether it’s marathon training, creative projects or personal goals, there’s always someone cheering you on, checking in or waiting with coffee afterwards.
Huge congratulations Chloe - absolutely smashed it.
